From our app, click Library
In the Templates tab, select the category of templates.
Click Install the template you like.
This feature is available for the following template types: 'Landing page', 'About us', 'Contact us', 'FAQs'.
In the Template Name field, enter a name for the template.
Click Create Page to add a new page.
In the Page Title field, enter a title for the page. Be descriptive and clear when choosing your page title.
If you don't want to create a new page, just enter the Template Name and click Install
Click Content Editor to start with the theme editor.
This feature is only available for template type "Landing page" and "Home Page"
In the Template Name field, enter a name for the template.
Click As a Home Page to set the page as a homepage.
Click Install.
After the installation, the homepage will have the same layout as the template you just set as the homepage.
This feature is used for the following template types: 'Product page', 'Collection page', 'Home page', 'Blogs page' and 'Blog posts page'.
In the Template Name field, enter a name for the template.
Click Install.
This feature only use for template types: Product Page, Collection Page.
For the products you assign, they will have the same template as the product you set.
This feature also works with Collection Page
From our app, click My Library.
In the Templates tab, click Product.
From the Product tab, select the template you want to assign to product.
Click ... > Assign.
Click Add Product.
Select the product.
Click Save.
From our app, click My Library.
In the Templates tab, click Blogs.
From the Blogs tab, select the template you want to set it as a default.
Click ... > Set as default.
To make sure your templates appears correctly, check these two things:
Activate SMI Theme Helper
Go to your Shopify Theme Settings → App embeds and make sure SMI Theme Helper is turned ON. This helper enables the app to work properly inside your theme.
Add the Templates to Your Current Theme
After installing a Template from the Smind Library, you still need to add it manually to your current theme’s template.
From Settings in Smind Sections app, scroll down to choose a theme to work on, you need to make sure that this theme is your current theme.
Open Shopify → Online Store → Themes → Customize.
